Faith Formation for Teens

Grades 9 through 12

 Spirit: A Weekly Curriculum Centered on the

• Sunday Gospels
• Teen-friendly format
• Teen conflicts in stories for discussion
• Questions linking Gospel and life
• Our Catholic Faith feature for teens
• Successful teen justice and charity  projects

 Youth meet in grade level groups with adult Catechist leaders. 

Post Confirmation youth (Grades 11 &12) are self-facilitated and usually involve assisting with the other groups.  

Confirmation

Confirmation is  a two year program that begins in the 9th grade with the Sacrament being received in the following year or when all the requirements of the Diocese are met.  Second year Confirmation uses a specific program designed for immediate preparation of the Sacrament.  Confirmation preparation for both years includes parent sessions in addition to the candidates youth sessions.

Evening Program for Youth

  J Cafe -- A special evening of food and fellowship for High School youth.
