Strengthening Our Play Brochure and Donation Information

For a little over 7 months, St. Egbert School has been in the planning stages to expand and enhance the school. A master plan, which can be viewed at the school, was developed with 2Kings Architecture (local firm owned by parents of the school). Working closely with Fr. T and the school advisory committee, the plans were presented to Morehead City and the Diocese, and we received permission to move forward the effort.

The plan has four stages with the first focusing on our playground and the area behind the school. Several of the items included in the plan - a new playground, swings, and new basketball court - have already been accomplished with several more items to go. In conjunction with the plan, we are conducting the Strengthening Our Play campaign to pay for the enhancements. The plan and the campaign will be shared with our parish in the new year, but if you are interested in learning more about it now, please contact the school or stop by the church office for a packet. There are naming opportunities available for donations of certain sizes. This may be especially rewarding for you if you are a former student, parents of one, or if you believe strongly in Catholic education. It is an incredibly exciting time for our school, and we are so grateful we can share the news and opportunities for its growth with you.

St. Egbert dances the 3W Shuffle!

We are so fortunate to have a new playground and basketball court! To help us celebrate Mayor Jerry Jones joined us, as well as Mayor for the Day, Allison. After the ribbon cutting our students danced the 3W Shuffle. Shout out to Ms. Whilldin for all her hard work and to our students and their wonderful dance moves!
